Let’s kick ALS together! A message from Coach Phil.

Phil Lalonde is a long-time soccer coach from
Pointe-Claire, Quebec.

In the fall of 2021, Phil was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Since his diagnosis, he has dedicated himself to raising money and awareness to address the physical and social impacts of this horrible disease.

With that mission in his heart, he launched the Coach Phil Foundation in 2022. Since then, thanks to the support of amazing volunteers and partners, the foundation has raised over $165,000 primarily through its flagship event – the Coach Phil Senior Soccer Tournament to End ALS.

Our mission is to raise funds and awareness in the fight for patient services and a cure for ALS.

I will not let ALS define me. I will do everything in my power to help find a cure”

— Phil Lalonde, Founder of the Coach Phil Foundation

All the money raised for the Coach Phil Foundation goes directly to the incredible work of ALS Quebec to provide much-needed research funding as well as patient support.
